This plant occurs along the coastline and is extremely common.
It is a foreign import but Aboriginals and explorers claim it had a natural occurrence before colonisation.
Hot leaves applied to affected joints are a cure for arthritis or a treatment for minor bleeding.
The European plant was used for the same purpose.
Currently under scientific research along with Australian genus e.g. Persoona Pinifolia.
Not be taken internally.
